Mother's Day Morning Tea & Blooms


Join Dr Danielle White, Rose & Peony Farmer, and Vanessa Carnevale, author of The Memories That Make Us, a novel set on a flower farm in Daylesford, for an insightful conversation about flower farming and the life of a writer. Learn more about the cultivation of fresh blooms and the way they positively impact our lives, along with how flowers inspired Vanessa to craft her novel.

This session will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.

Dr Danielle White is a Rose & Peony Farmer, along with her husband Ashley, at Crofters Fold Estate in Piper's Creek; a micro, bee-friendly flower farm and boutique sparkling wine vineyard nestled in the heart of the Macedon Ranges granite country. Danielle holds a PhD and was awarded an Agribusiness Fellowship to travel overseas to observe best-practice cut-flower farming.

Vanessa Carnevale's latest novel, The Memories That Make Us is the story of Gracie, who, after losing her memory, moves to Daylesford to revive her late mother's abandoned flower farm. Vanessa is also the host of Your Beautiful Writing Life retreats in Daylesford and Tuscany.
